Disciples asked Jesus how will they know the signs of His coming rather than telling them that no man knows the day nor the hour” and brushing them off,  Jesus carefully took time to explain in detail the signs that would be a prerequisite to His Second Coming one of them are pestilences which are defined according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary as contagious or infectious disease epidemics that are viral and devastating

In the past the Lord has used diseases as a tool  of judgment Last in the case in Egypt when God told pharaoh to let his people bought or else God will Smite them pestilence. (Exodus 9:15 )

Wow we report the facts not to invoke fear in your heart but to keep you aware of the signs or signals that point to the return of Jesus Christ. The Lord can and will keep you from sicknesses and diseases because  His blood on the cross of calvary has healed us. But there are times when He doesn’t heal us.
